Apple Security Warning to iPhones, iPads, and Macs Users
Apple security warning: According to reports, these bugs “could practically grant attackers full access” to a target’s device.

There are significant “vulnerabilities” in some of Apple’s products, the company has warned in two security patches.
iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, iPod touch (7th generation), and Mac computers running MacOS Monterey were the targets of the notifications.
According to Apple, the security flaws are related to the Kernel, the central processing unit of the operating system, and WebKit, the browser engine that runs Safari.
An application may be able to run arbitrary code with kernel privileges, according to Apple’s statement regarding the kernel issue. It continued, “Processing maliciously generated web content may result in arbitrary code execution,” in reference to the WebKit problem.
According to Rachel Tobac, CEO of SocialProof Security, these flaws “may effectively allow attackers full access” to a target’s device.
According to sources, these problems may have already been “actively exploited,” as Apple has acknowledged.
Users have been asked to update their devices as patches have been made available for the products of the tech giants that may be impacted.
Meanwhile, Tobac tweeted on Thursday: “For most people: update the software by end of the day.”
“If threat model is elevated (journalist, activist, targeted by nation states, etc): update now.”

How to update
iPhone and iPad owners can update their software by going to the settings application, tapping “general” and then tapping “Software Update.”
If they see a new software update available, they should tap “install now.” Apple is urging users to update certain devices at all costs.
Mac owners should click on the Apple logo in the top lefthand corner of their desktop screen.
They should then click on “About this Mac,” then click “Software Update” to check for available updates.
If a new software update is available, they should click “update now.”
